Thank you for choosing to fundraise for Good360 Australia Limited (ABN 93 161 292 664). Your support is deeply appreciated and will help us to achieve our mission of delivering brand new goods to meet the growing needs of communities across Australia, while also reducing waste in our environment.
Please read through these Terms and Conditions carefully, as these terms, together with any fundraising letter of authority granted to you by Good360 will govern your fundraising event. Failure to conduct fundraising activities in accordance with these terms may result in you being deregistered as a fundraiser.
Good360 has current registrations to operate as a charity nationally, holds all applicable fundraising authorities required under each State and Territory’s fundraising laws and is able to authorise another person or organisation to conduct fundraising events for its benefit.
Please note that as a fundraiser you're responsible for the planning and management of the activities, events, finances, prizes, raffles and services required to run your fundraiser. You're solely responsible to acquire all permits, licences, approvals and insurance/s that might be needed for your fundraising activity. Good360 does not hold any insurance, including public liability insurance, on behalf of our fundraisers. Good360 accepts no responsibility for any loss, liability or injury arising from your fundraiser.
In order to conduct a fundraising activity for Good360 you must register details of how you plan to raise funds for us either via your Good360 partnership manager, online via https://everyoneday.org.au or by emailing details to contact@good360.org.au. Good360 will then review and approve your fundraiser and issue an authority to fundraise letter (if the fundraiser is operating outside of Good360’s online fundraising platform). Good360 reserves the right to refuse or cancel approval of any proposed fundraising activity or may request an amendment to your proposed fundraising activity before issuing an approval. You may only fundraise for the period of time authorised by Good360.
Please note that by registering to fundraise for Good360, you are opting in to receive our newsletter and email communications. You may unsubscribe at any time.
You must not use the name or logo of Good360 in a way in which could damage our reputation. Please direct all media enquiries to your contact at Good360. You must gain prior approval from Good360 for any correspondence, advertising, publicity, design or marketing materials that use Good360’s name and/or logo that you develop.
Good360 issues its approval for your fundraiser subject to you conducting your fundraiser in accordance with any requirements of your local authorities and local fundraising laws and regulations. These differ from state to state but may require, amongst other things, that you and any employees, volunteers, contractors and anyone else involved in the fundraising event:
- Never mislead, deceive or knowingly use false or inaccurate information when fundraising;
- Always explain the purpose of the fundraising event and the purpose to which the funds raised will be applied (Good360 will provide you with information to assist with this);
- Never place undue or unreasonable pressure on a person when fundraising, or act unconscionably in any way to obtain a donation;
- Never exploit the trust, lack of knowledge, lack of capacity, apparent need for care and support, or vulnerable circumstances of any donor;
- Always acknowledge and comply with a:
- Refusal to make a donation
- Request not to receive future solicitations (including marketing and promotional materials)
- Request to be contacted at a more convenient time or by a different means
- Request to limit the number, type or frequency of solicitations.
- Never conduct door-to-door or telephone fundraising activity at the following times:
- Before 9am or after 5pm on a weekend o Before 9am or after 6pm (door-to-door) or 8pm (telephone) on a weekday
- On a public holiday, unless the public holiday is closely connected with a fundraiser’s charitable purpose
- Be clearly, and individually, identifiable by the public (including displaying identification that contains the individual’s name, whether they are a volunteer, employee or acting in some other capacity for a charitable organisation or commercial fundraising organisation, and that organisation’s name and contact details);
- Make and keep written accurate records of the funds raised;
- If collection containers are to be used, they must be properly secured, numbered and labelled with ‘Good360’ and their use and emptying must be appropriately supervised and controlled. Please note that if a tax deductible receipt is required then the donation must instead be made via Good360’s website or your Good360 fundraising portal and unique links/QR codes can be provided for your event.
Please ensure all funds raised are sent to Good360 in a timely manner and no more than 30 days after your fundraising event takes place. All donations of $2 or more requiring a tax deductible receipt must be made online via Good360's website or via your unique Good360 fundraising portal or by direct deposit to Good360 Australia Ltd, BSB 062-528, Account Number 1041-1291. Please include your name and/or organisation name as the reference.
Any personal information collected by Good360 in the course of you registering and carrying out your fundraising event or donations made to your fundraising event will be dealt with in accordance with Good360’s Privacy Policy at https://good360.org.au/privacy-policy/. You may request access to any personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us contact@good360.org.au.
